Legal Disclaimer – Xtreme Xmas Lights
By using the services of Xtreme Xmas Lights, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the following:
Liability Limitation: Xtreme Xmas Lights is not responsible for pre-existing damage to roofing, gutters, shingles, landscaping, electrical systems, or other property features. Installation and takedown are performed using professional-grade equipment, but some risk of incidental damage may exist.
Customer-Provided Products: Customer-supplied lights, clips, or accessories are installed at the customer’s risk. Xtreme Xmas Lights does not provide warranty coverage for customer-supplied products.
Weather & Force Majeure: Xtreme Xmas Lights is not liable for damage, outages, or service delays caused by extreme weather events, natural disasters, or other conditions beyond our control.
Warranty Limitations: Our 3-year warranty applies only to company-provided lights and clips. Warranty does not cover damage from tampering, misuse, accidents, or acts of nature.
Indemnification: Customers agree to indemnify and hold harmless Xtreme Xmas Lights, its employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or losses arising from the use of customer-provided products or failure to follow property access and safety guidelines.
Acceptance of Terms: By scheduling services with Xtreme Xmas Lights, the customer agrees to these terms and acknowledges understanding of the associated risks, fees, and policies.
Terms & Conditions - The Basics
Xtreme Xmas Lights – Terms & Policies
These Terms & Policies outline the services, responsibilities, and protections of both the customer and Xtreme Xmas Lights. By scheduling services, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the following:
1. Installation & Takedown Fees
Installation Fees: Prices vary depending on the scope of work requested. Standard installation options may include rooflines, tree wraps, walkways, and custom lighting designs. Final costs are determined by the specific services selected.
Takedown Fees: Takedown services are billed separately. Fees are $100 for single-story homes and $150 for two-story homes. Additional charges may apply depending on the scope of the installation (trees, walkways, canopies, etc.).
Reinstallation Using Customer’s Lights/Clips: If reinstalling customer-provided lights and/or clips, an additional $50 fee will apply to both installation and takedown. Customer-provided products are not covered under warranty.
2. Warranty Policy
Lights and clips provided by Xtreme Xmas Lights include a 3-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Warranty does not cover:
Customer-provided lights, clips, or accessories.
Damage caused by severe weather conditions (high winds, hail, storms, flooding, ice, etc.).
Tampering by customer, pets, or third parties.
Electrical issues unrelated to our products (e.g., tripped breakers, faulty outlets).
Warranty repairs will be completed at no cost if caused by product failure or installation error.
3. Weather & Maintenance Policy
While our products are durable and weather-resistant, extreme weather events may affect performance. Xtreme Xmas Lights is not liable for weather-related failures or outages.
Service Calls & Repairs:
Covered (free of charge): product failure, installation error, or normal weather adjustments.
Not covered (additional fee): customer tampering, pet/animal damage, severe weather damage, or failures involving customer-provided products.
Service requests will be scheduled as soon as possible, typically within 48–72 hours during peak season.
4. Payment Terms
A deposit may be required to secure an installation date.
Remaining balance is due upon completion of installation unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Late payments may result in service suspension or additional fees.
5. Scheduling & Access
Installations and takedowns are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Specific time slots cannot be guaranteed, though customers will be provided an installation window.
Customers must ensure installers have clear and safe access to the property, including unlocked gates and accessible power outlets.
Any delays caused by restricted access may result in additional charges.
6. Safety & Liability
Our team uses professional-grade equipment and clips designed to secure lights safely without damaging the property.
Xtreme Xmas Lights is not liable for pre-existing damage to roofing, gutters, shingles, landscaping, or electrical systems.
Customer assumes all risk if requesting installation on non-standard surfaces or structures (e.g., fragile roofing, old gutters, unstable landscaping).
7. Storage Policy (If Applicable)
Annual fees may include storage and takedown of company-provided lights.
Customer-provided lights are not stored or maintained by Xtreme Xmas Lights unless explicitly arranged.
8. Cancellation & Refunds
Cancellations made 7 or more days prior to installation may qualify for a deposit refund (minus processing fees).
Cancellations within 7 days of the scheduled installation may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
No refunds are provided once lights have been installed.
9. Customer Responsibilities
Provide adequate access to property and power outlets.
Do not adjust, move, or re-hang lights or clips after installation (may void warranty).
Report outages or issues promptly so we can address them under the terms of your coverage.
10. Agreement
By scheduling services with Xtreme Xmas Lights, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Policies.
Booking Policy
Booking & Fees Policy – Xtreme Xmas Lights
1. Deposits & Payments

A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your installation date. Deposits are applied toward your final balance.

Remaining balance is due upon completion of installation unless otherwise agreed in writing.

All payments must be made in full before takedown services are scheduled.
2. Installation & Takedown Fees

Installation Fees: Prices vary depending on scope of work. Options may include rooflines, tree wraps, walkways, and other custom lighting designs. Final costs are determined by the services selected.

Takedown Fees:

$100 for single-story homes

3. Scheduling

Installation dates are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis once a deposit has been received.

Exact times cannot be guaranteed, but customers will receive an estimated service window.

Customers must provide safe and clear access to the property, including unlocked gates and accessible power outlets.
4. Rescheduling & Cancellations

Rescheduling: Must be requested with at least 7 days’ notice to avoid fees. Rescheduling within 7 days may incur additional charges.

Cancellations:

Made 7 or more days prior to installation: deposit refund minus processing fees.

Made within 7 days: deposit may be forfeited.

No refunds once lights are installed.

5. Customer Responsibilities
-
Provide access to functional power outlets and safe installation areas.

Do not adjust, move, or re-hang lights/clips after installation. Doing so may void warranty coverage.

Inform Xtreme Xmas Lights of any special property considerations prior to installation.
